Day 1: Arrival Istanbul
Welcome to Turkey. Arrive in Istanbul and proceed for your transfer to the hotel. Later in the afternoon at approximately 01:00 pm, depart for Bosphorous Cruise the strait between the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea which separates Istanbul into two continents. Visit Egyptian Spice Market to see the atmosphere of an Ottoman shopping centre which still have several shops for spices. After the tour, return to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul. Note: Egyptian Spice Market is closed on Sundays.
Day 2: Istanbul – Half Day Sightseeing
After breakfast depart for a half-day sightseeing tour of Istanbul. Visit Hagia Sophia, one of the oldest, biggest and the most beautiful buildings in Istanbul. A Byzantin church, an Ottoman Mosque, a Republican museum, a temple for all civilisations. See the Blue Mosque, the only Imperial mosque of the Ottomans with six minarets. The mosque takes its name from its 21043 dominant blue colored handmade tiles. It’s built on the site of the Great Palace of Byzantium, on the south-eastern side of the Hippodrome which was a chariot racing track and the sporting & social centre of Constantinople. Visit the Grand Bazaar. You have free time for shopping. Overnight in Istanbul Meals: Breakfast Note: Grand Bazaar Spice Market is closed on Sundays On Monday’s when Saint Sophia is closed, we visit the Chora Church famed for its mosaics.
Day 3: Istanbul – Cappadocia (2 Nights)
This morning after breakfast transfer to the airport to catch an early flight to Kayseri (flight not included). Upon arrival transfer to Cappadocia, proceed for Cappadocia sightseeing. Visit Citadel of Uçhisar, the highest point of Cappadocia with a huge big rock Castle with almost 300 caves.Göreme Openair Museum, the biggest monastery of Cappadocia from Byzantine times. The cave churches are beautifully decorated with fresco. Pasabag valley, the most interesting part of Cappadocia in terms of landscapes. The biggest Fairy Chimneys (Mushroom shape rocks), Avanos the handcraft center of Cappadocia, Avanos is the center of pottery for 4000 years. Devrent Valley, The valley famous with its new rock formations. A good place to see the way of formation. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4: Cappadocia
Visit Red Valley, Cavusin Village, Kaymakli Underground City, Pigeon Valley Today morning after breakfast, proceed to visit the Red Valley and visit the cave church. Cavusin Village to explore the abandoned Cave Village. Kaymakli Underground city to see the underground settlements of the early Christians and Pigeon Valley to see the Pigeon houses all along the valley. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5: Cappadocia – Kusadasi
This morning after breakfast transfer to the airport to board your flight to Izmir (flight not included). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. You have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 6: Kusadasi – Full Day Tour of Ephesus
This morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day Ephesus Tour, one of the finest examples of an ancient classical city. See the Temple of Artemis (Diana), the site of one of the seven wonders of the ancient. House of the Virgin Mary and Isa Bey Mosque. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 7: Kusadasi – Full Day Tour of Pamukkale
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for a full-day tour to Pamukkale, Cotton castle famous for its healing thermal/mineral baths and beautiful snowwhite waterfalls. After lunch, visit Hierapolis, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis. After completion of the tour, return to Kusadasi. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 8: Kusadasi – Hometown
After breakfast, proceed to the airport to board your flight via Istanbul for your next destination or hometown.
